Movie Review: Marigold
Although Marigold never looked promising, I did not expect that the movie would not even get released in the Bay Area where even Buddha Mar Gaya got released this Friday. That too despite the fact that it stars Salman Khan and Ali Larter. Anyway, I am in no position to write any kind of review on Marigold. So, what I have done is compiled a few reviews from the web for your reference. Here you go...
On the whole, MARIGOLD is a terrible film with gloomy prospects. A sure-shot disaster!
Salman Khan can easily count Marigold amongst his worst mistakes.
I believe the film will do well with the young collegians as most will identify with this 'unexpected love story'.
The film is boring right from the frame one. This film seem to be done in English first and dubbed into Hindi later. There is no lip sync. And you feel like watching a dubbed Hollywood film. This film fails to connect to the common audience. On a whole, Marigold is a bad film and Salman is wasted in it!
Overall, the film is a big blunder of circumstances with creativity lost in quest of innovative cinema.
