Movie Review : GOOD BOY BAD BOY !!!
From the production house of Subhash Ghai (Mukta Arts) comes another dampening flick “Good Boy Bad Boy” starring Tusshar (still am baffled about the spelling) Kapoor, Emraan Hashmi, Tanushree Dutta, Isha Sharvani and Paresh Rawal. The movie is directed by Ashwini Chaudhary, who earlier made “Dhoop” and “Siskiyan”.
The movie drafts the story of two guys, Rajan Malhotra (Tusshar Kapoor) and Raju Malhotra (Emraan Hashmi), who are poles apart. Rajan is the “Good Boy” who spends all his time going through books and his only concern is to study hard and to be the top-scorer among his classmates. Because of his lack of interest in any sport or extra-curricular activity, his parents get really worried. On the contrary is Raju Malhotra (Emraan Hashmi) who is the “Bad Boy” and believes in having fun. He is a prankster without any interest in studies.
Principal Awasthi (Paresh Rawal) tries to bring discipline in the college by dividing it into two halves-Good and Bad. But due to swapping of files, Rajan finds himself stuck in bad crowd and Raju has only good people around him. Meanwhile they meet “Bad Girl” (Tanushree Dutta) and a “Good Girl” (Isha Sharvani), which leads to a lot of complicated situations.
Although the plot is a bit different, yet the movie has nothing new to provide in terms of performances. It’s a big disappointment. It shows that Bollywood is lacking talent in terms of acting. Direction is quite slow and predictable. Moreover, the editing lacks the refinement and camera work is awful. Moreover, humor appears as if it is forced upon.
In terms of acting, Tusshar Kapoor gives yet another disappointing performance after “Kya Love Story Hai”. His expressionless straight face makes things really difficult for him. He has nothing new to provide in terms of acting. Serial Kisser Emraan Hashmi has carved a niche for himself in the “kissing” department but when it comes to acting, he is a complete misfit. Tanushree Dutta & Isha Sharvani weren’t required in the movie. They do everything to allure the audiences but fail miserably. The only saving grace is Paresh Rawal. His comic timing seems almost perfect.
Indian directors should realize that movie-making isn’t about star power or exhilaration but it’s all about creating something exemplary and laudable that has never been seen before.
In short, it’s a sheer waste of time and money… Think twice before you plan to go for it.. !!!

HI guys, Don't ever watch this movie, such a hopeless movie I have ever seen. Director/Producer made it just for the sake of making it and couldn't be able to think of some other good name for it. Weak direction, weak story, crap acting of Imran Hashmi, Tushar Kapoor and Tanushree Dutta. There are some really illogical points, I won't be able to understand in future.
While Paresh Rawal was announcing names of these two so called heros of the movie for some crappy youth competition, why their girlfriend's stood up with them? In the dance competition when Tushar was dancing why did Tanushree Dutta went up on the stage, was she in the competition? Some roles like deaf and dumb ppl suits Tushar Kapoor well or he should go for a Rickshaw wala role.
The director or whoever tried to have question of complete name of our President APJ Abdul Kalam should go and recheck his GK again. His name is Avul Pakir Jainulabdin Abdul kalam instead of Abdul Pakir Jainulabdin Abdul Kalam.
Some more points are here, but I think to write them is a waste of time like watching it.

Man... if you cant appreciate a movie... then stop talking shit about it too... guys like you cant do anything except taking faults out.. movies are made to pass the time... but guys like you just make it such a big issue... if you dont like the movie then go and stick the dvd up your asss and stop putting your fucking bitch ass comments on this fuccking website.

Hi guys. Now I saw this movie, too and I haven't seen a more predictable movie ever. You can point out how the movie is going to end right after the first ten minutes. I saw this movie linked from this website and I must say I am really happy I didn't spend any money on this one. Sorry but this movie is exactly one of those our youngsters should not see. It is full of contradictions and doesn't affect the society in any good way. But if you just want to lay in front of your TV and watch a movie where you don't have to think with a single neuron, then go ahead and watch it.
Wit all respect, but we shouldn't abuse one another. It is indeed reflecting the "high" standard of those who like this movie.

actor. i always waiting for this movie to come on t.v. screen but it never come. but then also it's a very very
good movie. for me five stars to this movie.
