Zanzeer (1973)

A police officer (Amitabh Bachchan), who as a child witnessed his parents' murders, clashes constantly with superiors over his methods. The officer's 20 years of pent-up rage come to a head when he encounters the people responsible for his parents' death. A huge success in India, this film (which is based on a true story) made a star of Bachchan and changed the look and feel of Indian movies for decades to come.
