The Sentinel (2006)

When a government agent is murdered in the nation's capital, Secret Service agent Pete Garrison (Michael Douglas) heads up the investigation, but all the evidence seems to point toward him as the prime suspect. Convinced he's been set up as part of a plan to infiltrate the White House, Garrison works to prove his innocence -- and protect the president and first lady (Kim Basinger) -- while butting heads with his ambitious protégé (Kiefer Sutherland).
