Manzil (1979)

As he struggles to break out of his middle-class rut and start his own business, Ajay (Amitabh Bachchan) tries to win the hand of a wealthy girl (Moushumi Chatterjee) by pretending he's already a successful entrepreneur. But when Ajay's lie is exposed, his girlfriend's father refuses to allow his daughter to marry the young man. Can Ajay turn things around for the better, in both business and love?
