Hero (1983)


An orphan, Jackie (Jackie Shroff), raised by a wanted man (Amrish Puri), is asked to silence the chief prosecution witness (Shammi Kapoor) after the criminal is arrested. Jackie dutifully kidnaps the daughter of the witness (Meenakshi Sheshadri), and in a classic case of Indian-style "Stockholm Syndrome," she falls in love and asks that he turn himself in. Tracks include "Bichde Bhi To Hum Kal Parson" and "Ding Dong O Baby Sing a Song."
