Rang barse bheege chunarwali... dekho Holi aayee re...

Holi is here again. That time of the year when you can let yourself lose and indulge in some mischief and lot of masti. And did you think that we would forget you on this happy occasion. Naaaah, you got us wrong. We at Moviewalah are there for you in all the Holi fun n frolic.
Basanti might have refused to dance for the dogs but we will make her dance for you on "holi ke din". Big B is right here for you being naughty with ex flame Rekha and with the very graceful Dream Girl. If it is a classical touch that you want for your Holi, get a splash of colours from "Navrang" or have a very modern ishtyle Holi with Shahrukh and lot more to get you drenched in Holi colors.
Pictures from Yash Raj Films' 2008 movies...

2007 might not have gone too well for Yash Raj Films. Still they have lot to look forward to in 2008 with movies like Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Tashan, Bachna Ae Haseeno, Roadside Romeo and untitled movie from Kunal Kohli starring the hit Hum Tum pair. Aditya Chopra comes back to direction with his favorite SRK in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi whereas Tashan will see Saif-Kareena sizzling on the silver screen for the first time. Ranbir Kapoor plays the heartthrob of three in Bachna Ae Haseeno and Jugal Hansraj tries his hand at direction with Roadside Romeo. Looks interesting, huh!!!

Open letter to Aamir Khan - Do not remake Ghajini!

Aamir, I have always awaited eagerly for all your movies and most of them turn out to be special. So, it's not without no reason that I can hardly wait for your Ghajini remake so much so that I watched the original Ghajini a few days back. The movie started off great and in every scene I would imagine how perfect you would be in the lead role of a man suffering from short-term memory loss. No doubt Surya Sivakumar did a wonderful job but at the same time I have little doubt that you would outdo him. However, as the movie progressed my thoughts changed. Not only Ghajini turned out to be a very bad Indianized version of Memento, it got so predictable and boring that I just wanted the movie to get over. And now I fear if you are making a mistake by remaking it.
Movies releasing in March...Big & Small!

In March, we have two big releases - Black & White and Race. While Black & White is a very untypical Subhash Ghai movie, Race belongs to the genre Abbas-Mustan have mastered over years. Black & White stars Anil Kapoor and Shefali Chhaya in pivotal roles and introduces Anurag Sinha and Aditi Sharma. Releasing this Friday (Mar 7, 2008) it's directed by the showman himself and has music by Sukhwinder Singh. Anil Kapoor has another major release in Race on Mar 21. So, in a way it's a very crucial month for Anil Kapoor, who has defied his age for long and is still very much in demand. This is what we say "lambi race ka ghoda....jhakkkkas!" Besides him, Race also stars Saif Ali Khan, Akhsaye Khanna, Katrina Kaif, Bipasha Basu and Sameera Reddy. The songs by Pritam Chakraborty have already raced up the music charts. Let's hope the movie also does as well as its music.
