Happy Birthday Abhishek!!!
Hey, did you guys realize that AB's Baby has really grown up!!! The toddler who went through a lot of teething problem in the first few years of his career, has carved a niche for himself today. So, on the eve of his birthday (05-Feb) we thought of doing a little task of analyzing his career.
Well, it sure is a big thing to be a Bachchan in India. However, when Bachchan Jr gives a series of flops for almost 4 years the task of proving his mettle gets really herculean. No wonder then the Bachchan tag came with its own share of advantages and disadvantages for Abhishek. Well, well, well... besides being a Bachchan, Abhishek's career in Bollywood has many more interesting shades to it which just can't be dismissed. Did you know Abhishek is one of those rare actors in Bollywood who has not let himself get typecast? When you saw him in Tera Jadoo Chal Gaya, little did you know that he could do a Yuva or when you drooled over that sexy cop in Dhoom, did you know that he could hold you spellbound as Guru Kant Desai. While he gave tough competition to Bachchan Sr. in Sarkar he stole the show and loads of girls' hearts in KANK as a happy-go-lucky yet so caring and ooooooooooh so adorable husband.
Even though Abhishek had a relatively quiet 2006 with KANK and Dhoom 2 after quite a happening 2005 with movies like Bunty Aur Babli, Sarkar, Dus and Bluffmaster, 2007 definitely was a remarkable year for him not only for his mind blowing performance in Guru but also for his much hyped and talked about marriage with Aishwarya Rai. The flops like Jhoom Barabar Jhoom and Laaga Chunari Mein Daag in the second half of 2007 may not be a good thing for his career but his popularity continues unabated.
With big releases like Drona, Sarkar Raaj and Delhi 6 lined up for Abhishek Bachchan in 2008, the expectations are really high. It would not be wrong to say that we are still waiting for a Deewar from AB's baby!!!
Here is wishing this amiable aquarian a very "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" and a great year ahead.

Who Cares about his Birthday
If it wasn't for daddy he would not have been the way he turned out to be. After 2004 and about 17 flops he was a goner but daddy came to the rescue. He starred in films with him (bunty aur babli, sarkar and asked his powerful friends (yash chopra and karan johar) to cast him in films (hum tum, salam namaste, dhoom, bunty aur bali, kabhie alvida na kehna) he starred in a bunch of cameos just to get recognized. Want to see starpower go watch dhoom 2 and see how he was made out to be an a$$ in that film. it is like he did not even existed. his dance moves sucked in the film too. now people are going to say but he made it in guru (Wrong). true he did play a role in making that film a hit but it also had aish rai in too. also in terms of hits when you have real stars having films grossing over 60cr, guru managed 41cr and it was just a hit not a superhit or a blockbuster. now don't tell me aish rai does not have any starpower. actually she is a more powerful actor than him. she did not marry him b/c of him she married him b/c he is a bachanan. if she becomes a international superstar this marriage is going to be over. he will likely ditch her. in jhoom barabar jhoom bobby deol and lara dutta were the best things in the film. he is a star alright but a media made star. his father pulled the strings to get him to where he is. he did not have to struggle. as srk said in om shanti om to his actor father "if i was not your son would i have gotten all this fame and recognition." that character srk plays in the latter part of om shanti om represents abjr. and in that film just like how abjr did not get an award, he will not get any award for guru.
as for his birthday who cares: after a couple of years nobody will really care

yeah Pagalpan Admi.....you're just a jealous hater......who cares how he succeeded.....who knows how many dicks did SRK suck on his way to stardom.....and Hrithik Roshan who you probably think of as a star and I don't have any problems with him....but seriously dude the only movies that he had success in prior to Dhoom 2 was his dad's productions.....so it's better to seek someone's help and be big....then be all macho and end up as a loser.....probably like you who hates on everyone.....seriously get a life
