I think ur opinion is wrong. Rahman is a Slow Poision

I am surprised you say this; I love all the songs after listening to them a few times and in this case the "few" times was actually lesser than what it used to be for a typical ARR album.
All said and done, thanks for the link where I can now happily listen to the songs...
People who have not yet listened to the songs - please listen and do post your comment - I am more than certain that it will not disappoint you...

Its confirmed that you have become mentally disordered. Jodha Akbar is a musical monument made by Rahman. Your brain has some problem so go and check a psychiatrist for your well being. Neither write these type of critics on A.R.Rahman's music in your lifetime. You did lot of sins. That's why JodhaAkbar music is not reaching your mind. First go and listen JA music countless times to wash out your sins.

I am surprised to see this review. I loved 2 of the songs straight after i heard them. Didn't need to listen to them many times for them to grow on me. Even the other songs are nice. A wholesome album from Rahman after Guru.

Jodhaa Akbar's music might work on screen when heard in the context of the movie. Otherwise as a music album and that too coming from A R Rehman, it does not work. Would you listen to these songs anywhere anytime? Except jashne bahara...tell me who will sing or listen to azeem-o-shan shahenshah and khwaja mere khwaja??? lol :) You can have good music even for period movies...remember Mughal-e-Azam, Lagaan?

Well I dunno wat kinda music reviewer u are. Well JA is kinda eternal music which is a cut above the current crap of music heard.
Well I strongly recommend you to consult an ENT specialist and psychiatrist immediately. You dont deserve to review any kind of music in future.

ok all the folks that have left comments on here....its nice that you like Jodha Akbar's music, but that doesn't mean you have to call Mr. Vijay a loser.....a critic is a normal person like you....he didn't like the music and he said it.....he didn't say...."Hey Jodha Akbar sucks....but btw that Murali guy who commented is retarded".....so my request to all the commenters is that please stop acting like 5 year olds and if you like the music.....say so and please refrain from insulting Vijay.....at the very least fucking thank him for giving you free music....

as far as my personal opinion....I heard the first two songs and had to stop....seriously it might be a fitting soundtrack, but I don't think I wanna hear those songs again.....now try calling me a loser....and I promise I'll track your IP and come and take a dump on your keyboard.....so you can never type again.....

Thank God, nobody has pronounced a fatwa for such blasphemy, Vijay, u have something to feel nice about ;) I totally agree with Chak De and Rahul and Vijay and myself that this is Rehman's worst creation so far. And here is a piece of advise for all those people who have written their comments above, please check ur dictionary before u use such words.

lemme put my 2 cents - if it was not an A R Rehman music and Ashutosh Gowariker's movie, no one would even be discussing it here. What's there in it? Total 5 songs with only 2 melodious. Khwaja saab himself would have slept with boredom after hearing khwaja mere khwaja. Azeemoshaan shahenshah is good to some extent. jashne bahara starts off well but gets boring soon after. This album is no where close to A R Rehman's class.

And all u Rehman fans out there, don't behave like SRK fans who think he is the best no matter what he does even in that crappy Om Shanti Om.

it comes down to your taste of music.. this is a different genre and works with some part of the audience and not all..i like songs usually that have a good beat and that you could hum or that catch on really quick.. and some odd songs i pay attention to the lyrices because they just keep your attention.. as for this album.. its not the best IMO.. the kawali song,, could be a lot better.. AR has previously created kawali's that really gets your heart pumping.. this one doesnt, missing elements in the kawali are things like the strong tabla and the use of hands(clapping)..i am usually not a big fan of slow songs, but one or two that are REALLY nice i just would not stop listening to.. Jashan-e-Bahara is one of those songs.. absolutely one of the best song i have ever heard..

I would rate JA songs as one the best till date.

ARR is GOD of music and "Khwaja mere Khwaja" rocks !

Please do not write reviews if you do not understand music.

A.R IS THE BEST music diractor that i have ever seen no body can beat his style of music the 1 and only a.r can do that mind it

Brilliant work once again! The complexity of these songs requires a careful listener. Sadly there are not many of them. Those wishing for popular (read crappy) songs should look elsewhere -- perhaps Anu Malik can help you there.

It was nice that u were there to speak for the critic... and u started really well advising ppl and telling them that a music critic can talk his opinion.. But u really screwd it up with the last few sentences and especially the "F" word... that clearly shows ure immaturity and qualified ure post to be in trash..
