Top 10 most popular songs - MovieWalah Hit List

First of all thanks for all the encouragement and actually listening to the songs in our music section. Because so many of you listen to them everyday and rate them, we decided to come up with a monthly top 10 list of songs. This is not based on our opinion or some random poll, but one simple number - Average Daily Plays (ADP). This is calculated by the total number of times the song has been played divided by the number of days elapsed since it was first uploaded. To avoid confusion, we'll retire a song after two months.  Below is the list for songs uploaded in the month of September....

So there you have it. Its no surprise that all the songs are from two biggest movies of this year, Om Shanti Om and Saawariya. Among the two, Saawariya has a little more edge with two songs locking the two top spots and that too with a massive lead compared to the rest. What is surprising is that the song Main Agar Kahoon from Om Shanti Om got the most number of plays. If I had picked the top songs from Om Shanti Om this one would have been 4th or 5th, and that's what you call human error, which has been removed by solely basing this on the wisdom of the crowd.
