Prashant Tamang wins Indian Idol 3

wow....I was really confident that Amit Paul would win.....Sonam can you please add videos of their latest performance

Prashant is a great singer no doubt.. but I had doubts about amit..
I think this result quite fair compared to the last one..
Prashant's voice modulation is great and the most convincing point from my view is that atleast he speaks good hindi.. ( sorry amit fans..) !

Prashant winning the contest???? Hard to believe . Why 'Indian Idol' show needs any judges when the real talanted singers are voted out through sms. The show is completely vogus.

I am Sorry you think that Amit has an Original Voice, but i think he sounds like Kishore kumar and as for Prashant, his voice is original and divine . Anyways, the winner is Prashant. Ofcourse, Amit is cool too but Prashant rocks man.

Fairy, Prashant is good but is no match to Amit Paul, who has indeed very original voice. I heard him singing all different kinds of songs - RD's, Kishore da's, Udit Narayan's, Sonu Nigam's and many more. The best part was he made all these songs his own and sang them in his own voice. Sonam is very right when she says Amit Paul has original voice. Even Javed Akhtar said that.

well it is all good for this guy now. after a year nobody will remember this guy. the REAL winners of this show are the PHONE companies and the PRODUCERS who are making money big time. this people will be known for about a year or two and then after that have a nice day. can you name the past two winners????? yeah did not think so. ditto for shows like jhalak diklaja, sa re ga ma pa, boogie woogie. these shows are nice entertaining shows but in terms of talent they hardly do much for the winners. only 5-10 percent of the winners actually have great careers. wait for two years this so called winner of indian idol 3 will be long forgotten. indians are so gulliable and as for the judges they may be great judges but hardly qualified. i heard some singers on this show that really deserved to win but b/c of that sms bullcrap they did not win. where is the credibility. again this show is all about making money and that is it

did u just say that no one would disagree with u ??? well , i do .... i think prashant is better than amit paul. amit sings from throat ... prashant sings from heart . jeet hamesha dil ki hoti hain . one more thing .... do not deny the fact that prashant was far better than amit paul in the last few performances . AMIT GOT TWO CHANCES EVERY TIME . he was selected in a wild card round and he forgot his lyrics twice. prashant had to survive through the biasness of the judges esp. alsiha chinai .she never pointed out amit's fault. THANKZ TO ANU MALIK . HE SPOKE THE TRUTH . HE POINTED OUT ALISHA 'S CARELESSNESS AND HER BIASNESS.prashant got payed for his humbleness, hardwork . he even survived richa's cruel behavior. prashant is a survivor ... u go guy . he has a great future a head . god is always with a talented and a humble person like prashant.

Atul, if someone is making money why does that piss u off? Prashant, Amit Paul and others, they at least got some exposure because of this show. Now it all depends on their talent, hard work and good luck that how far can they go. Remember Shreya Ghoshal and Sunidhi Chauhan are products of these kinda shows only. So, it's not all crap as u pointed out. Abhijit Sawant is doing reasonably good. At least everyone knows him, he cuts an album once an year and mind you his first album was a superhit and his second one Junoon is not doing that bad either. Moreover, these guys make hell lot of money in stage shows, which is beyond your imagination. And if my instincts go right, Amit Paul might well end up as the busiest playback singer, as Javed Akhtar pointed out.

Phool Kumari (oops Flower Girl), dil se kaise gaate hain...gaa ke dikhao zara...:) jokes apart, yes prashant is a good singer but Amit Paul is much better. Sorry but i think Sonam is right :)

Indeed, Prashant is a person who sounds generous and simple from the begining. The consequences in fact fascinated everyone towards him. Similarly, I am really very craze of him from the initial stage, I didn't missed the show even a second. He is person of bona fide to hold the covoted crown for Indian Idol. He is really down to earth which I feel during his performance and concert in Kathmandu. Unquestionably, I didn't missed the every show however the most memorable and magnificent is the recent one in the Dasarath Stadium.
Furthermore, it was great indeed that Amit Paul and Charu also performed which really made everyone enthralled. However, Prashant is the best in the show.

god, the winner has been announced so, get with the reality. onone can change what has happened so what is the point in this. them both were good but amit didn't have enough people loving him and voting him so tough luck!!! (sorry but someone has to say it)

prashant have good high pitch voice quality but he need to make his voice base a little.after all amit and prashant both r good fren either amit won or prashant won both r same for this two guys.best of luck guys sing well both of u i saw after a long time like good fren u two
