Konkona Sen lending her vocals for “Sunglass”..

The very versatile, Konkona Sen Sharma is all set to test her singing skills in Rituparno Ghosh’s “Sunglass”. It would certainly be a challenging task for her, as she’ll have to sing both in Bengali and Hindi, as it’s a bilingual film.

The film, which also stars Jaya Bachchan (who plays Konkona’s mother) and Raima Sen, is a situational comedy and audiences will get to see Konkona showcasing her brilliant sense of humor other than her proficient acting skills.

Though, we have seen her acting in a comedy “Mixed Doubles”, but she didn’t have any hilarious dialogues in the film. In the movie, she plays a wacky woman with some crazy powers. Tota Raichaudhury and Madhavan play Konkona's husband in the Bengali and Hindi versions respectively. Apart from them, the film also boasts of Naseeruddin Shah’s presence.

The cinematography department is being handled by none other than Hemant Chaturvedi who earlier proved his mettle in movies like “Company”, “Makdee”, “Maqbool” and “15 Park Avenue”. The dubbing for “Sunglass” still remains to be done and it will release in the coming months…
