Wanted Dead and Alive: Boney Kapoor’s next…

Boney Kapoor has finally short listed the two lead actors for his next venture called “Wanted Dead and Alive” and they will be Salman Khan opposite Ayesha Takia for the first time.

About casting Ayesha Takia in the movie, Boney Kapoor in a recent interview commented that they wanted a heroine who had earlier never worked opposite Salman in order to offer something new and exciting to the audiences. Moreover the work of Ayesha Takia has constantly been impressive, especially after her wonderful performance in Nagesh Kukunoor’s “Dor”. Earlier Kangana Ranaut and Deepika Padukone were also considered for this particular role, now taken over by Miss Takia.

The movie is a remake of the Tamil blockbuster called “Pokhiri”. Other than Salman and Ayesha, Om Puri, Mahesh Manjrekar and Sayaji Shinde will be sharing screen space. The crew has already left for Bangkok for the shooting of two song sequences. The choreography department of this movie has been taken over by dancer, actor and choreographer Prabhu Deva and his brother Raju Sunderam.

The music of the movie is being handled by Sajid-Wajid who have earlier worked on the music of movies such as “Pyar Kiya to Darna Kya” “Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, “Tere Naam” (along with Himesh Reshammiya) etc….
