Asha & Usha: Singing together after 30 years….

Asha Bhosle and her lesser known sister Usha Mangeshkar are finally getting back to sing together after a long span of about thirty years and Shamir Tandon, the music director is the man behind this piece of news.

The duet that the two sisters are going to sing is the title track for a 3D animated movie called “Bal Ganesha”. According to the talented duo, they are absolutely thrilled at this opportunity, especially after such a long gap. The two have already sung around 200 duets together in the past.

Dispelling the rumors about the fact that the Mangeshkar sisters do not get along very well with each other, Asha Bhosle also expressed a desire to come together with all her sisters (Lata Mangeshkar, Usha Mangeshkar and Meena Mangeshkar) and sing a couple of songs or maybe release an album sometime.

Well, as for now the Asha and Usha ‘duet’ is certainly rolling…..!!!!
