The much awaited judgement on Sanjay Dutt's involvement in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case came as a shocker to Sanjay Dutt, his family and friends and the entire Bollywood. Rejecting his plea for leniency, Sanjay Dutt was given a six-year jail term in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case by a special court in Mumbai that said some of his acts were eminently dangerous and showed a high element of criminality. Judge P D Kode of the Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act court cancelled Sanjay Dutt's bail and ordered police to take him into custody. Sanjay Dutt was also fined Rs 25,000.

Move over Indian Idol and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa …. it’s time no more to lend an ear to the perfect combo of ‘sur’ and ‘taal’ as Filmy channel is all set to launch it’s latest reality show called “Bathroom Singer”.            

As the very name of it is suggestive, this show is not about finding the newest of those talented singers who have been putting in tireless efforts right from there childhood days to obtain the perfect voice blended with some flawless notes of music. Rather this show will showcase that ‘talent’ which is fit only for bathroom singing. A singer who can ‘bathroom’ sing and packs a lot of punch with his entertainment quotient… that’ll define the winner of this reality show.

The very versatile, Konkona Sen Sharma is all set to test her singing skills in Rituparno Ghosh’s “Sunglass”. It would certainly be a challenging task for her, as she’ll have to sing both in Bengali and Hindi, as it’s a bilingual film.

The film, which also stars Jaya Bachchan (who plays Konkona’s mother) and Raima Sen, is a situational comedy and audiences will get to see Konkona showcasing her brilliant sense of humor other than her proficient acting skills.

Boney Kapoor has finally short listed the two lead actors for his next venture called “Wanted Dead and Alive” and they will be Salman Khan opposite Ayesha Takia for the first time.

About casting Ayesha Takia in the movie, Boney Kapoor in a recent interview commented that they wanted a heroine who had earlier never worked opposite Salman in order to offer something new and exciting to the audiences. Moreover the work of Ayesha Takia has constantly been impressive, especially after her wonderful performance in Nagesh Kukunoor’s “Dor”. Earlier Kangana Ranaut and Deepika Padukone were also considered for this particular role, now taken over by Miss Takia.
