Movies you've walked out on??

I was on this blog today and read this post about the movies that you've walked out on. So I thought I would pose the same question to folks on this blog as well. It'll be fun to come up with a list of movies that you thought were colossal time wasters. Now remember these movies may not really be bad, but for some reason (timing, mood, quality of movie) you didn't want to sit through the entire thing. I never thought it could happen to me, until it did and it happened more than once in my life.....

The funny thing is that both of those times I was in college, which means two things, plenty of free time on hand and very little cash. That should give you an idea, how bad I thought the movies were because I had already sunk my precious money and still didn't think the movies were worthy enough to sit through, as it was eating into my "twiddle the thumb" time.

So first up is the movie that starred my "the favorite actor of all times", swayam Amitabh Bachchan and the movie is Lal Baadshah. I remember paying 10 or 15 rupees for the ticket and an hour into the movie, me and my friend (who was also a big fan) looked at each other and instantaneously walked out. These were still his pre-KBC days and Big B was trying to make a come back. He had done Mrityudata, Major Saab and BMCM before this awful movie came out. It wasn't like he had done any ground breaking stuff in these three movies, but as an ardent fan, I loved all three and in fact I convinced a lot of people to go watch Mrityudata. But Lal Badshah was below the belt. I couldn't believe I was walking out of a Big B movie. The whole incident was pretty traumatic!!

Second movie that I walked out, wasn't actually a bad movie, but I got so bored with the slow pace and those beautifully choreographed martial arts sequences that I decided to leave. The movie I am talking about is House of Flying Daggers. After watching and really loving Crouching Tiger, I obviously wanted to see more of the kind. Next movie that I saw, Hero, wasn't as good as Crouching Tiger, but it was still pretty entertaining and I walked into House of Flying Daggers with the same expectations only to be utterly disappointed.  Maybe if I watch it again on a DVD I might like it, but it has left such a bad taste in my mouth that It'll take one of those days when I have absolutely nothing to do and that's the only DVD in my house.

So there you go, that's my two movies that I've walked out of.  There are actually a few other movies that I didn't finish watching on DVD, but we'll save that conversation for later. Ok now your turn....
