Talented Stanley Tucci !!!

Every time you see him on screen, it looks like he is having a great time. Even if he plays a supporting role, he’s often the best part of the movie. An amiable person by nature, this guy is often cast as a bad guy and a callous administrator. He has even appeared as villain on TV in “Miami Vice” and “Wiseguy”. Yes, you guessed it right. We are talking about none other than “Stanley Tucci”.
A graduate of the drama department at State University of New York- Purchase, Tucci made his film debut in “Prizzi’s Honor” (1985). He got some serious recognition as the mysterious Richard Cross in the television series “Murder One” whereas his talent glittered brilliantly in movies like “Road to Perdition”, “Big Night”, “Maid in Manhattan”, “America’s Sweethearts” to name a few.
This baldheaded lanky guy was highly engrossing as Jennifer Beals’ ex-husband in “In the Soup” and as a debauched district attorney in Barbet Schroeder's 1995 remake of “Kiss of Death”. Some of his movies like “Big Night” and “The Daytrippers” earned glowing reviews due to his breathtaking presence on screen.
Following his success, Tucci went on to appear as a dentist in Danny Boyle's uneven “A Life Less Ordinary” and a fictional version of Woody Allen in “Deconstructing Harry”. After being cast as the mischief-maker Puck in “A Midsummer Night's Dream”, he zipped back as producer, director and star in “Joe Gould's Secret” (2000). He then went on to play a studio executive in “America's Sweethearts” and a double-crossing husband in “Sidewalks in New York” (both 2001).
Last year, we saw him playing the stylist, Nigel in “The Devil Wears Prada” and sharing the screen space with Richard Gere again, after “Shall We Dance”, in “The Hoax” and has a current role as the New Chief of Emergency Medicine on the TV medical drama “ER” playing Dr. Kevin Moretti. He’ll be returning next year with Barry Levinson’s comedy “What Just Happened”.
With so many awards to his credit and appreciation that he has garnered over the past, Stanley Tucci is certainly an ace in the pack…!!!

One of his more memorable performances was with Tom Hanks in the 2004 movie "The Terminal".
