Movie Preview: The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford !!!

Brad Pitt is all set to return to big screen with “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford” after some scintillating performances in “Ocean’s Thirteen” and “Babel”. Andrew Dominik, who earlier made Eric Bana starrer “Chopper”, directs the movie.

The movie is a Western drama adapted from Ron Hansen’s 1983 novel of the same name.

The story moves as a scandalous outlaw Jesse James (Brad Pitt) plans his next great robbery & conducts a war on his enemies but is astonished to find that the danger lies within his own group as someone whom he trusts the most could be the greatest threat to his life.

The movie also stars Casey Affleck as Robert Ford, Mary Louise Parker, Paul Schneider, Sam Rockwell and Jeremy Renner. Roger Deakins, the cinematographer, who earlier got appreciation for his work in “The Village” and “A Beautiful Mind”, is all set to perform yet another commendable job. Director Andrew Dominik will be doing the screenplay himself.

The movie has been filmed at Calgary, Winnipeg and Edmonton and will be hitting screens on September 21^st, 2007…!!!
