Movie Preview: RISE: BLOOD HUNTER !!!
Slated to release on the 1st of June, this year in the USA, “RISE: BLOOD HUNTER” is a story that vouches for thrill and horror. Starring former Charlie’s Angel Lucy Liu, the narrative forms an eccentric escapade in to the shadowy side of existence that deals with blood sucking vampires and revenge seeking entities.
Sadie Blake (Lucy Liu) is an investigative journalist who awakes in a morgue and finds herself in an inexplicable situation, drifting between life and death. Now she is hell bent on settling scores with those who put her in the same condition. As she joins hands with Clyde Rawlins (Michael Chiklis) who is himself weighed down by the woe of her only daughter’s death who also became a victim of the same game as Sadie, now they both set out to unearth the truth and thus gain conquest over the culprits.
The movie has been written and directed by Sebastian Gutierrez who has also penned down the screenplay of another horror obsessed movie Gothica starring Academy Award winner Halle Berry.
Well…. This one seems spine chilling too!!!!
