Time to hit the gym !!!!

After a string of reality shows already up on television, there still seem to be more of them popping up to compete with the saas bahu melodramas. A flood of varied shows such as “Big Boss”, “Indian Idol”, “MTV Roadies”, “Fear Factor”, “Business Baazigar”, “Deal Ya No Deal”, “Kaun Banega Crorepati”, “Zee Cinestars Ki Khoj”…. the list seems endless, and now Sahara One has launched something for the weight watchers… this is called “Biggest Loser Jeetega”.

The show is already up on television in which 16 obese contestants compete against each other by trying to lose maximum weight. They have been divided into two teams of eight each and all of them are weighed on a weekly basis to determine the total weight loss. Every week, the team that weighs more than the other team will vote out one member from their team whom they feel is not striving hard enough to achieve the set target. Thus, in this way participants will be eliminated one by one until the final stages of the competition are reached. In the course of the journey, the competitors will be put through interesting tasks and numerous temptations in order to test their determination and resistance.

The participants will be working under the guidance of fitness experts and nutritionists who have helped famous celebs such as Aishwarya Bachchan and Bipasha Basu to carve out great torsos. Former physiotherapist of the Indian Cricket Team, Andrew Leipus is also a part of the team. The host of this reality drama is Suniel Shetty. The contestants have been put together in a 22000 sq ft home that has been divided into living areas and gymnasium section. It is situated near Pune.

The best part is that the winner not only walks out with a healthier body but also a cash prize… and of course they shall never forget their weeks of fame on television!!!!
