Movie Preview: FAY GRIM !!

This movie titled “Fay Grim” after the protagonist herself is the story of a single mother who is always anxious with the thought of preventing and saving her son, Ned from growing like his father, Henry. Henry had inadvertently killed a nasty neighbor and had then fled, never to be seen or heard from again.

Later as developments gain ground through the film, Fay is able to ascertain facts that were previously unknown to her. She is led into dealing with a global espionage. The film has been derived from its prequel story “Henry Fool” that released in 1998.

Both the movies have been directed by Hal Hartley who is acknowledged for his independent filmmaking. The movie stars the dark haired actress Parker Posey as Fay and she has been fairly recognized for her preceding appearances in movies such as “You’ve Got Mail”, “Laws of Attraction”, “Josey and the Pussycats”, “Scream 3”, “Superman Returns” and not to forget “Henry Fool”.

Henry has been played by Thomas Jay Ryan. Apart from them Ned is portrayed by Liam Aiken, the very popular child actor with a history of films such as “Stepmom”, “Sweet November”, “Road to Perdition” and “Lemony Snickets a series of unfortunate events”. He was also there in “Henry Fool” and so was James Urbaniak as Simon Grim (the character of Fay’s brother).

The movie is slated to hit the theatres in May this year and falls in the genre of thriller and action. After the sequel of “28 days later” (called “28 weeks later”), this is another sequel, you can watch out for!!!
