Tom Cruise ROCKS!!!

With all the hype that the paparazzi has been making about Tom Cruise’s personal life, they all seem to have forgotten the brilliant actor that he is and also that “movies” is the keyword that he is supposed to be allied with.

Owing to the recent control that Tom Cruise has taken over United Artists along with his production partner Paula Wagner, now the inaugural movie of this house is being directed by the legendary Robert Redford (who also stars in the movie) and is called “Lions for Lambs”. The movie features Meryl Streep and Tom Cruise too…. (WOW)!!!!

This movie is a drama that involves the lives of a professor (Redford), a journalist (Streep) and a congressman (Cruise) weaved together in the backdrop of America’s war on terrorism. The movie has been written by Mathew Carnahan and is set to release in early November this year in the US and UK.

Apart from the above, reports have also stated that Tom Cruise is all set to star in a movie that is based on an attempt to assassinate the Nazi leader, Adolf Hitler when World War 2 was at its peak. This project is still untitled but the boss shall be Bryan Singer, the famous director of “X- Men” fame and now “Superman Returns”. The production is scheduled to begin this year itself and once done, it will be distributed by MGM. The scriptwriters for this motion picture are Christopher McQuarrie and Nathan Alexander. (Singer and McQuarrie had previously joined hands for the Academy Award winning crime thriller “The Usual Suspects”).

The above mentioned cinema sure seems some Oscar status substance and the with the kind of strength these scripts ooze, along with the incredible finesse that shall be imparted to them (there are no doubts about it, since the talent chipped in as regards the actors and the directors is phenomenal), they certainly should be the big things to watch out for in the future.

As for Tom Cruise alone, Holmes or no Holmes… he remains an eternal sweetheart…!!!!!
