First Look: Raqeeb

Rahul Khanna, Jimmy Shergill, Sharman Joshi and Tanushree Datta!!! That seems to be an interesting cast. Yes, they come together for the first time in a musical thriller - Raqeeb, which promises to be a masala mix of seduction, love, betrayal, passion, obsession and crime.
Kajol makes another comeback!

The wait is over! While Karan Jahar is still trying hard to sign Kajol opposite Shah Rukh Khan in his next directorial venture, rumor has it that Kajol will be seen with hubby Ajay Devgan in their home production "You, Me and Hum". It's anticipated that this movie will be scripted and also directed by Ajay Devgan himself. It will cetainly be ineteresting to see how he fares as a director. But one thing is for sure that he's taken the right first step by casting Kajol. Ain't we all awaiting eagerly for more of Kajol ever since her comeback with Aamir Khan in Fanaa last year.
First Look: Bourne Ultimatum

The Bourne books were great, atleast the first two were plain awesome (or atleast I thought so when I read them). However the movie adaptations have always been a little short and left something to be desired. Nonetheless they've been monster successes and are a very profitable franchise.
Floppywood... : Box Office Analysis for the year gone so far...
Do you remember the last Hit Hindi movie (new movie) you saw? Let me help you recall. Well, to be honest, even I don't remember. I think it was Guru, but even Guru was not a universal hit. It fared well with the classes but can't say the same about the masses. The point I am trying to convey is that we are into the last week of the first quarter of 2007 and yet no "HIT" Hindi movie this year. And going by the coming Fri releases, it's highly probable we'll have to wait for the next quarter. Big Brother, Delhii Heights, Gumnaam - The Unknown, Khanna & Iyer, Say Salaam India, and Zamaanat are slated for release on Mar 30 but none of them excites me except may be Delhii Heights.
Johnny Depp in Sin City 3
There's not much that is going on in the film world recently so a news like this certainly catches your attention for more than a few reasons. First I loved Sin City, second Johnny Depp and Robert Rodriguez in a Sin City format, it has classic written all over it!! The movie also stars Rodriguez's favorite Antonio Banderas in the movie. However what's interesting is that last time I checked they haven't even started shooting Sin City 2 yet so go figure....
