A Trip to Ravens Fair in “Dead Silence” !!!

After scaring people out of their wits in the international sleeper hit “Saw”, Director James Wan brings a supernatural thriller “Dead Silence”, starring Ryan Kwanten, Amber Valletta, Donnie Wahlberg, Judith Roberts & Bob Gunton. The film is produced by Gregg Hoffman, Mark Burg & Oren Koules.
 
The film tells the story of newly weds Jamie (Ryan Kwanten) & Lisa Ashen (Laura Regan), who have established a new life for themselves far form their hometown of Ravens Fair- a sleepy, near-forgotten blip on the map haunted by late-night whispers and ghost stories. But when his wife is grotesquely killed, Jamie reluctantly returns to Raven Fair for the funeral & reunites with his ill father (Bob Gunton) & his father’s new young bride Ella (Amber Valletta). James starts digging into the town’s bloody past to find out who killed his wife and why. As he uncovers the legend of Mary Shaw (Judith Roberts), a famous murdered ventriloquist who cast a curse on Ravens Fair, Jamie unlocks the story of her curse. 
 
According to an old ghost story in the town of Ravens Fair, Mary Shaw was accused of the murder of a young boy & was hunted down by vengeful townspeople who chopped her tongue, killed her and buried her along with her hand-made dolls. Since then the terrifying dolls have gone missing from the grave & during nights, wherever they are glimpsed, families are found brutally murdered with their tongues torn out.
 
Universal Pictures have announced March 23rd as the release date for Dead Silence & the film promises to be creepier than the earlier work of James Wan. This intriguing, twisty thriller promises to provide the much needed dose of horror…!!!
