Oct 2006 saw the release of one of the most eagerly awaited movies of the year - Don. Don took off to a flying start but eventually managed to settle down as an above average grosser. Jaan-e-Mann was another big release of the month. It had a slow opening but good word of mouth publicity helped it to do an average business. Zindaggi Rocks, Mera Dil Leke Dekkho, Iqraar - By Chance, Jaana - Let's Fall In Love, Gafla, Bhoot Unkle were other releases of Oct 2006 but none of them could generate enough interest.
