First Look: Smokin' Aces!!

The new trailer for Smokin Aces is out and yes its smokin'. This is the upcoming movie written and directed by Joe Carnahan who earlier made the awesome Narc (who?) with Ray Liotta. This time he is back with a bigger star cast than ever....

The movie stars Ben Affleck, Alicia Keys, Andy Garcia, Ray Liotta, Jason Bateman, Ryan Reynolds and ahemm....the owner of Miller-Gold, Ari Gold aka Jeremy Piven himself. It belongs to the Pulp Fiction-Kill Bill-Reservoir Dogs-Lucky Number Slevin-Snatch-Transporter genre, which means its about wise guys trying to out do each other resulting in a lots of gun fights and spattering of blood for one prized catch. In these interlocking tales of high stakes and low lifes, Mob boss Primo Sparazza has taken out a hefty contract on Buddy "Aces" Israel (Piven)--a sleazy magician who has agreed to turn state's evidence against the Vegas mob. The FBI, sensing a chance to use this small-time con to bring down big-target Sparazza, places Aces into protective custody-under the supervision of two agents (Reynolds and Liotta) dispatched to Aces' Lake Tahoe hideout. When word of the price on Aces' head spreads into the community of ex-cons and cons-to-be, it entices bounty hunters, thugs-for-hire, smokin' hot vixens and double-crossing mobsters to join in the hunt. With all eyes on Tahoe, this rogues' gallery collides in a comic race to hit the jackpot and rub out Aces.

Anyways, however you describe it, the movie does look like fun. Watch the trailer below and I love the last part when the elevator opens with three guys in leather, Alicia Keys says, "I'm going down" and then one of the guys says, "I betch ya're" and then all you hear is gun shots. BADASS!!
