in my opinion critic's awards are usually "make up" awards. considering the fact that srk did not do a wow performance over darsheel in tare zameen par. so they say sorry and here is the award. srk probably got the award b/c he hosted the show. filmfare loves to give srk an award just about every other year. mind as well call them srk's filmafare show. totally biased. and special effects for om shanti om. please. and please get rid of that stupid power award. ranbir over neil mukesh for best debut was bullcrap. what neil did in johnny gaddar was way better than what ranbir did. notice every time a kapoor debuts get that award (karisma, kareena, ranbir) how biased is that. as for music guru songs were okay but not great. stop giving him awards all the time. om shanti om, jhoom barabar jhoom, and jab we met were far supirior than that album. a.r. rahman is like the "srk of music" they have to give him an award too every year. please. also get rid of the r.d. burman award. that category is an insult to all the other music directors who also gave popular and sometimes far suprior music than r.d. burman. he was great during the 60's, 70's and early '80s but after that most of his albums sucked until he died and gave a great album in 1942 so they made up this award for him. but what about other great music directors like shankar jaikishan, laxmikant pyarelal, o.p nyiyar, kalandji anandji.

once again amir said "F@## you" to the filmfare awards. they don't mean anything to him. thank god they got rid of stupid best comic and best villian awards.

overall they need to stop kissing srk's a$$.
